As the name suggests, the epoch of Art Décoratif, also known for short as Art Déco, was characterised by the decorative artistic elements which can still be seen today in the buildings, jewellery and furniture of this period. You only have to look at the furniture which came out of this epoch, between 1920 and 1940, to see that they are filled with style and elegance and yet fulfill the highest demands in terms of quality and workmanship.
