Highest quality

From the outset, OAF’s aim was to maximize the quality of prepared and refined antique furniture. In order to achieve maximum furniture quality, a lot was invested in machinery and human capital in-house in order to have full control over the entire restoration and finishing process. All production and work steps are now carried out in-house and are checked via standardized quality control with multiple inspections and detailed logging. The result of our work is genuine designer furniture that does not lose the charm of days gone by but is preserved for eternity thanks to our refurbishment and careful changes. We have come step by step closer to our goal of producing perfect furniture over the years and can now compete with the quality of the best manufacturers in the world – both in our restorations and reproductions.

Relatively cheap final prices

At the same time, complete production within the company’s own operations has enabled opportunities to increase efficiency, which is reflected in lower production costs. Compared to many other production companies, we can produce cheaply in relation to high quality. On the one hand, the retail and wholesale trade benefits from this because we can offer good purchasing prices, and on the other hand, direct sales to the end customer via our website and a few other online sales channels also allow low sales prices. The sales and presentation rooms that are deliberately not rented keep our costs per piece of furniture at a relatively low level, which we pass on to the customer via direct sales.

High qualification

OAF not only invested in the training and further education of the staff to improve production but also in the industry expertise of the managing director, who has been the official appraiser for antique furniture from the Federal Association of German Experts and Specialist Appraisers e.V (DGSV) since 2017 and provides for each of our original items sold. Furniture comes with a certificate of authenticity. Since 2017, companies or individuals have also been able to use OAM or Mr. Kogelboom as an appraiser to classify and estimate antique furniture.

Sales channels

OAF beliefert als Produktionsbetrieb sowohl den Einzelhandel (wie zum Beispiel Antiquitätenhändler) als auch Großhändler. Dazu bietet OAF seine Möbel auch Online im Direktvertrieb an, also den Endkunden. Mittlerweile pflegt OAF ein recht großes Netz an Antiquitätenhändlern und Vertriebspartnern im In- und Ausland, wobei hier noch viel Wachstumspotential besteht. Im Jahr 2019 werden wir intensiv an einer Ausweitung unserer internationalen Aktivitäten arbeiten.
